I am a Bay Area native currently working as a freelance writer and online marketing specialist. An animal lover and advocate for things unjust, my life reflects a collection of experiences and vast array of interests that cause me to celebrate and question life.

As "maturity" creeps up on us all we must find a more realistic way to deal with it and nurture what lies beneath the skin. Aging is an inevitable part of living and I refuse to associate "beauty" with youth or hapiness.

No matter how many things are lifted and tucked, true beauty is how you feel about yourself and how you take care of yourself. It is not a coincidence that the two are closely related. Chances are, if you have a positive self image, you will prioritize a healthy lifestyle and sport a beautifully genuine smile.. Be kind to yourself for a glow that transcends the most pronounced facial flaw.

Join me in my quest to emphasize the importance of inner peace, strength and the beauty found in one's soul if we only have the courage to look a little deeper! One of the ways that I have found to do this is by writing.
